Reminders for the last week of September!

Here are some things to remember for this week:

1) Picture day: Monday and Tuesday for all preschool classes...individual photos will be taken. You will get proofs in a few weeks as well as an opportunity for retakes.
2) September birthday celebrations at the end of the week. If your child had a birthday in September you can bring in something special to celebrate. However, we ask that you refrain from cupcakes etc. as we won't be eating it in class and is hard to hand out. Some suggestions if you want your child to give something out: stickers, pencils etc. (goodie bag items). We also ask that you refrain from handing out treats such as hard candy as this is a major choking hazard for young children. Thankyou for your understanding!
3) Fire Drill: We will be practising monthly fire/emergency drills with the children so please be aware that we will be talking about this and practicing in class this week.

Hi everyone, finally got a few minutes to sign on and say WELCOME to our preschool blog! It's been great getting settled in and getting to know your adorable children! The kids have been loving our Nursery Rhyme theme, especially Humpty Dumpty, as well as getting to know eachother's names. Take the time this week to introduce yourselves to other parents and children and don't hesitate to ask if you have ANY questions or concerns.
